Herrero provided preconstruction and construction services for a 65’ x 65’ helipad elevated 12’ off the ground in the parking lot of thecampus. The scope of work dealt with multiple authorities having jurisdiction (OSHPD and the City of Burlingame), as well as other government agencies like FAA and Caltrans. The project was very high-profile, as this was the first helipad for Sutter Health in the Bay Area and it serves all Mills-Peninsula facilities in the region.
