The rehabilitation, which is part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, included: seismic strengthening, masonry restoration, painting, sheet metal work, miscellaneous metal work, re-roofing and other materials restoration; installation of ADA accessibility upgrades; and new HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems, utilities upgrades and connection, installation of a shower facility and bike racks in the basement and exterior building lighting. The project also included improvements to site circulation, parking and landscape design.
