Herrero provided construction services for a new two-story, tilt-up medical office building with direct member access at each level from the adjacent, terraced parking area.
The scope of work included construction of 38 provider offices, a laboratory, imaging/radiology department, pharmacy, healthcare education space, information management, and member services.
The building had numerous technical challenges including the construction of and campus tie-in to a CUP, specialized laboratory space, clean room, radiology, and pharmacy functions — all within a physically tight space. BIM/VDC coordination was required to achieve reliable documentation and constructability for the complex and congested MEPF utilities throughout both floors.
Herrero delivered the project utilizing Design-Build MEPF methodologies, and finished on budget and ahead of schedule.
