Pursuit Management (70%)
Effectively leading, planning and executing strategic pursuits. Results will include the development and creation of high quality, collaborative qualifications, proposals and interview materials that help Herrero win strategic projects. Activities and skills supporting these results include:
- Embrace autonomy. You must be able to self-start, plan and produce, sometimes without guidance.
- Own the pursuit process end-to-end. Prepare and submit responsive packages to various clients’ Request for Qualifications (RFQs) and Request for Proposals (RFPs). The right candidate can produce polished, tailored, and inspired proposal and interview documents and can assemble supporting graphics and materials for an on-time print or electronic delivery.
- Manage the pursuit-specific processes and workflows. including scheduling kick-off and check-in meetings, researching relevant data and win themes, working closely with key personnel, assembling documents, and leading timely draft reviews and a successful submission.
- Possess a commitment to continual improvement. We’re not perfect, but we’re always striving for better processes and results. This role must enjoy seeking Value and eliminating waste and have the confidence to lead change.
- Manage the reconciliation of project, resume, and image information into the CRM database and Open Asset.
Brand Management (30%)
Seeking and improving client touchpoints and the experiences they create. This manifests in several ways and is flexible, depending on personal strengths and interests. Examples may include:
- Produce creative content and resources for digital platforms, proposals, and interviews.
- Contribute to Herrero’s ongoing relationship development efforts by studying existing client touchpoints, establishing priorities for improvement, and developing appropriate collateral for marketing-related inquiries.
- Support the development and execution of integrated internal/external communication plans that drive and support company strategies and goals. Regularly partner with company departments (People, Operations, and Safety) in the development of event, conference, recruiting, and other presentation materials.
- Develop a deep understanding of Herrero company culture, our business, and the greater Bay Area construction industry – help to build and sustain the company’s authentic message and reputation to produce truly great results.
