A Project Executive oversees multiple Project Managers and Superintendents. A PX may have multiple projects or may be responsible for a single, complex project over $75MM.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead a team of 10-50 Senior Project Managers, Project Managers and Superintendents
  • Promote Lean Leadership for the overall project and ensure LEAN tools are implemented on all projects
  • Enhance and develop new client relationships through award winning service, follow-up, and successful project completion
  • Promote positive relations by dealing fairly &professionally with subcontractors and vendors, and continually instilling this philosophy in the project team
  • Review and initial subcontracts
  • Collaborate with Estimating and Purchasing in the up-front set up of projects to insure profitability, client satisfaction and the best subs for the job
  • Mentor and coach project team to ensure their skills and capabilities are being developed by establishing annual performance goals for each direct report
  • Identify and execute on new business development opportunities within the industry as well as with other service groups
  • Ensure the project strategy is clearly defined and communicated
  • Guide multiple jobs and multiple job teams operationally in each phase including pre-construction, construction, closeout, and post-construction services
  • Identify potential risks to the clients’ on-going operations planned project. Develop plan and measure to minimize and mitigate the potential risks
  • Draft client contract(s) and negotiate
  • Engage with business development professionals to win new business
  • Support business development activities and drive process improvements
  • Develop and expand key industry relationships by participating in industry events and groups
  • Require complete understanding of cost estimating, budgeting and forecasting
  • Challenge and support jobsite and self-perform work team
  • Accountable for project completion of financials, critical success factors, and customer satisfaction results. Actively participate in regional operations (staffing, business planning, preconstruction efforts, etc.)
  • Participate in industry events locally staying informed of new ideas and trends in the healthcare core market. Encourage team members to participate as a part of their growth
  • Provide leadership in searching out new ideas with technologies and prefabrication processes that will truly affect the construction industry and the healthcare core market
  • Develop and nurture relationships with the Architectural community and their sub consultants. Regularly meet with principals to stay in touch
  • Perform regular and annual assessment of project teams
  • Demonstrate Leadership, ability to guide and mentor more junior people
  • Ensure accuracy of Project Status Review report and participate in monthly reviews

REQUIREMENTS
  • BS/MS in Civil, CM or Architecture
  • Proficient in all responsibilities of a Senior Project Manager
  • 20+ years industry experience (10-15 as a Project Manager)
  • Successfully managed a minimum of 2 projects of significant size
  • Expert in all aspects of construction
  • Works very well under pressure
  • Capable of coordinating significant activities for a large group of people to achieve maximum efficiency and quality
  • Able to develop accurate project estimates and pricing reports
  • Leads internal and external quality efforts
  • OSHPD experience
  • Diverse Project Portfolio
  • Full knowledge of computer software, i.e. MS Word, Excel, Viewpoint. P6 scheduling software
  • Experience with Project Controls software
  • Working knowledge of BIM360, PlanGrid, AutoCAD

Salary Range: $245,000 - $320,000
