The People Administrator reports to the KAL, People and is responsible for providing essential administrative and operational support to the People department. This role is accountable for the accurate and timely execution of People processes, including HRIS management, onboarding, offboarding, asset management, benefits administration, and cross-departmental communication. The People Administrator serves as a key point of contact for employees and supports the department in delivering efficient, compliant, and employee-focused services. RESPONSIBILITIES

Roles, Responsibilities and Expected Behaviors

To achieve success at Herrero Builders, we expect certain behaviors that are aligned with our core ideologies that will allow the People Administrator to perform the following tasks:

·      Maintain accurate employee records in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).

·      Process new hires, job changes, and terminations in the system in a timely and compliant manner.

·      Generate standard and ad hoc reports to support People operations and leadership needs.

·      Ensure data integrity and confidentiality of employee information.

·      Coordinate and administer the onboarding process, including offer letter processing, new hire documentation, system access, and orientation scheduling.

·      Serve as the primary point of contact for new employees during their onboarding period.

·      Ensure completion of all employment eligibility and compliance documentation in partnership with Payroll.

·      Manage Wellness Program in partnership with CIGNA Health Representatives.

·      Assist with employee benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations.

·      Process, prepare, and deliver necessary ACA documentation to employees.

·      Serve as a liaison between employees and benefit providers to resolve inquiries and issues.

·      Support open enrollment preparation, communications, and system updates.

·      Provide daily administrative support to the People team, including document preparation, filing, scheduling, and tracking.

·      Manages the process for the People department credit card reconciliation.

·      Assist with audits, compliance reporting, and internal People initiatives.

·      Support special projects and process improvements as assigned.

·      Provides temporary administrative support, including calendar management for the President.

Position Salary Range: $80,000 - $95,000

Relationships are at the foundation of the work that we do. The People Administrator will develop and maintain relationships with all Herrero Staff such as:

·       Leadership including all KALs, CEO, President, CFO and COO

·       Finance Team

·       Project Executives

·       Project Teams

·       External Business Partners including Benefit Administrators, UKG, and Recruiters
