Position Outcomes & Goals The Data Manager position reports to the COO and specializes in the construction technology stack and acts as the central architect for operational intelligence and bridges the gap between field operations and project management, back-office accounting, workforce management, staff planning, client relationship management, learning management and other operationally deployed tools to ensure a "single source of truth" for project performance and financial and non-financial metrics. Roles, Responsibilities and Expected Behaviors
To achieve success at Herrero Builders, we expect certain behaviors that are aligned with our core ideologies that will allow the Data Manager to perform the following tasks:
· Maintain and optimize data flows between Viewpoint Vista (ERP), UKG (HCM/Payroll), Autodesk Construction Cloud (Project Management), Bridgit Bench (Staff Planning), and Unanet CRM (CRM)
· Sync timecard and payroll data from UKG into Viewpoint Vista to provide visibility into labor costs and recovery by job and phase.
· Manage project setup, document control, and cost management data within Autodesk Construction Cloud, ensuring it aligns with the financial structures in Vista.
· Establish standards for data entry across platforms to prevent duplicate entries and ensure compliance with prevailing wage and labor rules. Identify opportunities to eliminate manual workflows through automation and integration.
· Develop standardized reporting and unified dashboards using tools like Power BI or Tableau that aggregate progress from multiple data sources to provide insight into:
· Develop executive, team, and project level reporting.
· Translate business needs into intuitive visualizations (KPIs, trends, forecasts, risk indicators). Continuously improve reporting tools to enhance usability and relevance.
· Act as the "subject matter expert" for troubleshooting technical issues and training staff on how to properly use these interconnected systems.
· Utilize UKG People Analytics to monitor key HR metrics, including turnover rates, flight risks, and employee fatigue.
· Generate automated audit reports for employee record changes and maintain strict adherence to labor laws and prevailing wage regulations.
· Develop dashboards within UKG to track workforce demographics, engagement levels, and performance trends against industry benchmarks.
· Sync headcount and timekeeping data between UKG, Viewpoint Vista, and Bridgit Bench to forecast labor needs and optimize scheduling based on real-time project demand.
· Track employee certifications, credentials, and licenses within LMS365 and/or UKG to identify training needs and ensure field crews meet safety and technical requirements.
· Analyze data from the Autodesk Construction Cloud, LMS365, and UKG to measure the impact of training on project productivity and safety KPIs.
· Leverage "People-First AI" in UKG to support career pathing initiatives by mapping completed training milestones to future roles and promotion readiness.
· Manage the data flow between Autodesk's technical training platforms, LMS365, and UKG’s employee records to maintain a unified "Single Source of Truth" for staff competency.
Position Salary Range: $150,000 - $175,000
