Mark Herrero, Chairman and CEO, is a 30-year construction professional. Mark's lifetime construction education began by joining his father on weekend job tours and inspections. Mark's professional career began at Chevron's Richmond Oil Refinery as an Engineer and Manager. His work for Chevron provided broadening experience about very large construction projects, critical performance standards and overall large organization management. Mark joined Herrero as a Project Manager over 20 years ago and since then, has been involved with almost everything Herrero does. He has helped move Herrero to more partnering/team approach projects by building on Herrero's proven capabilities. As a Principal-in-Charge, he oversees multiple projects and works to continually improve services. Rick Herrero, President, is a 20 year construction professional with hands-on construction experience as a Project Manager, Estimator, Scheduler and Carpenter. Rick's experience includes new construction, building renovations and tenant improvement projects for private high schools, healthcare, commercial office buildings, retail and industrial facilities. Over the last 10 years, as both a Project Manager and Principal-in-Charge, Rick has managed the successful completion of $50 million worth of healthcare facility projects including OSHPD hospital and non-OSHPD medical office building renovations for providers such as California Pacific Medical Center, Alta Bates Medical Center, UCSF Medical Center and Kaiser. For the past 13 years, Rick has been a Board Member and Development Committee Chairman for the Pacific Vision Foundation, Department of Opthalmology, California Pacific Medical Center.
