PG&E Energy Center Exhibition Facility Seismic Upgrade and Renovation 3 stories, 30,000 square feet Concrete & Steel Architect: Robinson Mills & Williams PG&E asked Herrero to convert an older concrete building South of Market Street in San Francisco, into a unique exhibition facility and achieved high quality fit and finish. The Pacific Energy Center (PEC) offers educational programs, design tools, advice, and support to create energy efficient buildings and comfortable indoor environments. Exposed concrete columns, daylighting, recladding the facade with aluminum skin and special glass fins, and the installation of “Calmac” ice production and storage tanks for peak demand cooling all support and demonstrate the PEC's goals.
