Blu High Rise Condominiums - San Francisco New Mixed Use Condominium/ Retail Project 23-story, 210,696 square feet Concrete and Steel Architect: Handel Architects Herrero built Blu, the new high-end condominium tower at 631 Folsom Street in the SoMa district of San Francisco which contains retail space. This 21-story high-rise tower features 108 two-bedroom units and 6 two-story penthouses with private roof decks and glass-walled solariums. The units all feature finishes such as marble vanity countertops with raised vessel sinks, granite kitchen countertops, and mahogany doors. This urban infill project was situated on a very tight site fronting Folsom Street near Hawthorne. An extremely limited staging area and high vehicle traffic required close coordination of material deliveries as well as attention to safety.
