Kaiser MOB - Pinole New Medical Office Building 2 Levels, 61,800 square feet Type 2B Construction 38 Offices, Acres 6.25 Occupancy January 2009 Herrero built a new 2-level MOB with direct member access at each level from the terraced parking area. There are 38 Provider Offices, Laboratory, Imaging Radiology, Pharmacy, Health Education, Information Management, and Member Services. The site development included work with Caltrans, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and the Department of Fish and Game. 150 employees and over 8,500 Kaiser members in Pinole are now using the facility. The building includes a few green ecological materials in the design, i.e. the Trex used on the Trellis’ which is made out of 50% recycled and reclaimed plastic and 50% reclaimed wood. Lastly, to ensure preservation of the historic value of the land, they reused wood from the original Faria barn. |
