| Concordia-Argonaut Club Renovation and Restoration 5 stories Masonry and Wood Architect: Hertza & Knowles The historic Concordia-Argonaut Club, originally founded in San Francisco in 1853, was heavily damaged by fire in 1982. The membership, disrupted and disheartened, was keenly interested in getting the club back to normal quickly. Herrero provided preconstruction services in budgeting, scheduling, quality, value engineering and evaluation of alternatives in addition to the construction of the project. The club facilities include an indoor olympic size swimming pool, a commercial kitchen, formal main dining room and two Club bars, complete athletic facilities, locker rooms with all the amenities, a sitting room, library and several lounges. |
