The Presidio Trust, the board that oversees the Army post-turned-national park, has repurposed Pershing Hall, previously the quarters for single officers, into the Inn at the Presidio. Herrero Contractors is the general contractor.

Come April 2012, visitors will be able to stay inside the Presidio at a hotel that was once quarters for Armyofficers. The one-time Pershing Hall will be transformed into Inn at the Presidio, 22 rooms that come with access to a front porch and rocking chairs -- and one of the best locations in San Francisco.

For Cathedral Hill Hospital, Sutter Health, general contractor HerreroBoldt and architect SmithGroup agreed to use Integrated Project Delivery, a process that allows owners, designers, contractors, and trade partners to collaborate under one roof from project inception to completion, as opposed to traditional delivery where each project team member has a separate agreement with the owner.
